Hey guys, this is Tyler with bamboo. Hey, I wanted to show you you see like this stuff growing in the lawn? Seems like every year I get a call and people are asking me, Hey, what is this? What’s causing it? And how do I get rid of it. So I actually got some of it here. Believe it or not, this is actually just grass. Now plants in general, they want to seed and germinate so that they can have offspring. Grass is the same way. Now most grass is sterile, though. So what happens is this time of year, usually in the late spring, this will come up, and the seeds on their own will just drop off into your grass, nothing will happen. And this will actually go away on its own. But there are a couple things that cause this to happen more in certain lawns and others. One is if the grass grows too long, it will naturally seed if it’s ready that time of year. Or the other thing that can happen is if you mow too much off of a blade of grass is going to cause this to sprout. I think that’s what happened here in my lawn is I waited for the grass grow a little bit too long, I came out and I mowed it basically in half. Now as a general rule, you don’t want to mow more than a third of a blade at a time. And that’s what I did wrong. And it caused it to to see like this. So at this point, I can’t really treat it I kind of have to wait for the seeds to fall off on their own. Or what I’m going to do is I’m going to come out and remote and after a month or two, this is all going to disappear. So nothing to be worried about. It happens all the time. But knowledge is power. So here’s a little bit of information for you. Hopefully it helps you
